Deuteronomy 5:22
22AO spoke these commandments to your whole assembly1 on the mountain out of the fire2, the cloud3 and the deep darkness4 in a loud voice. He added nothing more5. And He wrote them on two tablets of stone and gave them to me.
Translation Notes
1Wouldn’t it make sense that all the commandments were spoken here to ensure that everyone knew that these were the words of the Most High? This also seems to take much longer that reading just “Ten Commandments” would.
