Chapter 9
The Seventy Jubilees
24Seventy weeks jubilees are determined upon Your people and upon Your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to atone for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy Place.
25Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the command to restore destroy and to rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince will be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks sixty-nine jubilees: the street will be built again and the wall but in troublous times.
26And after threescore and two weeks sixty-two jubilees Messiah Judah will be cut off and have nothing: and the people of the prince shall destroy the city and the sanctuary them but the end thereof his end will come speedily like a flood. Until the end of the war, desolations are decreed.
27And he He shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the middle of the week, he He will cause the sacrifice and offerings to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations, he He shall make it Jerusalem desolate until the decree is poured upon the desolate Israel.
