26The vision of the evening1 and the morning2 which was told is true;

1The evening is the sunset or Israel being cut off in the middle of the week.
2The morning is the new day or the sunrise after the 3,500 year exile that ends with the 400 years promised to Abraham in Genesis 15:13 and the Second Exodus promised in Genesis 15:14. Note the verse before, Genesis 15:12, begins with, "And when the sun was going down,..." .
